Happy Guesthouse : An Elegant and Contemporary Guesthouse in Brussels
Happy Guesthouse is a guesthouse born from the desire of its owner Sophie to give a new life to this old mansion which for a long time housed the "Emery and Cie" shop, a well-known downtown business for Brussels residents and decoration lovers.
At the time, Sophie was an interior designer and wanted to develop a hospitality business centred around exclusively local products and highlighting Belgian creations. She completely redesigned the available spaces, including the bedroom furniture.
Combining the Scandinavian elegance, between blond wood and light felt, of her functional, intelligent and simple furniture designed in collaboration with Atelier Dynamo & Julien Renault, with the optimisation of the building's historic spaces and configuration, the guest house offers a clever mix of authenticity and contemporary.
The guesthouse consists of 4 rooms, each with its own private bathroom, on the 4 levels of the old building. The guesthouse offers its guests a generous space on the ground floor, open to the city through its bay window, with its rare curved profile.
A home-made breakfast, varying from sweet to savoury and featuring emblematic Belgian products, is served here every morning. In collaboration with the publishing house Dargaud, Belgian comic books in many languages, the flagship of a certain Belgian culture, are available to guests!
It is thus between a guest house and a boutique hotel that Happy Guesthouse and its dynamic team are reinventing the codes of hospitality!
Sophie and her team will be happy to share with you their selection of the best addresses in Brussels and other suggestions adapted to your type of stay!
